Through a combination of exceptional products and superior service, MTI is in the business of providing landscape beautification solutions to golf courses, schools, municipalities, landscape contractors, and independent dealers.
We currently have an opening for a Delivery Driver based out of our Grimes, Iowa location.  In this position you will foster strong customer relationships to support the sales process and professionally and safely pick up and deliver Toro commercial golf & grounds equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Safely deliver/pick up equipment to customers as scheduled
  • Load and unload equipment safely
  • Properly secure loads without damage
  • Ensure product is delivered clean and maintained
  • Perform final quality checks on all new, used, and repaired equipment prior to delivery
  • Review completed repairs with customer and demonstrate proper function, provide customer with delivery packet, have customer acknowledge receipt of equipment
  • Communicate customer feedback to appropriate people
  • Maintain trucks and trailers: routine maintenance, safety, and cleanliness
  • Plow and shovel snow
  • Clean and organize yard
  • Assist in shop and warehouse as needed
  • Understand and adhere to all DOT requirements
  • Accurately maintain DOT log books
  • Maintain a clean driver’s license
  • Occasional overnight travel is required

Education and/or Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess and maintain valid driver’s license.
  • Understand and adhere to all DOT requirements.
  • Must have or obtain a valid medical certificate (DOT medical card).
  • Able to occasionally lift, pull, and push up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to travel within territory and navigate around local and surrounding states.
  • Tractor trailer/straight truck experience a plus


MTI offers a wage of $28 - $30 per hour; based upon the qualifications of the selected candidate.  Our benefit program includes:  401(k), medical, dental, vision disability and life insurance, PTO and holiday pay.  Candidates will be subject to pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical.
